Romantic getaway outside UK

Montjuic magic fountains at Barcelona

Thinking about taking your wife for a romantic weekend this Valentines then my recommendation this year would be Barcelona for people who have not been there before. If you have visited Barcelona before and your hasn’t then this is a good opportunity to show them around Barcelona as you have already been there.

Barcelona is famous for it’s history and culture, so this is the place to be to view historic buildings and experience great culture. From UK you will be able to find cheap tickets to Barcelona through airlines like Easy Jet and Ryan Air. Once you are in Barcelona there are many places for you to visit and to be honest you might not have enough time to visit all those places in your Weekend getaway.

With beautiful Mediterranean Sea at the bottom and Tibidabo Mountain at the back Barcelona is ideal for your romantic getaways. You will be able to enjoy the view of the Mountain through cable cars and they do various water sportswhich might the thing you look for other than sight seeing.

There are other things you will be able to do in Barcelona. You can catch a tour bus which travels around the city to view the beautiful Antonio Gaudi’s architecture, these buildings are scattered all around the city. Another is the famous Las Ramblas street, this is not just a long 2 minutes walk straight road as this street has so much to offer from bars, restaurants, statues of people, face paintings and more. Another must see place is Gothic Cathedral in Gothic Quarter.

My favorite romantic spot in Barcelona is Montjuic. It has one of the most beautiful water fountain.. It is known as the magical fountain of Montjuic. You will see people from different culture and country in this spot relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view with a smile on their faces. This is the exact spot where I met my other half and we try and make time to visit this place every year to recollect and remember the sweet memories of our first meeting.

Looking at the pics of this Aston Martin test car snapped by our crack team of spies, it’s tough to say if we’re looking at a refreshed V8-powered Vantage Roadster, or what might in fact be a V12 Vantage Roadster. Either way, we dig the new wheels. If you tiptoe through the gallery, you’re sure to notice what’s new. Namely, and aside from the gray carbon-look wheels, a carbon fiber front splitter and a rear carbon fiber diffuser. Whatever the engine, the Aston Martin Vantage has been one of the flat out sexiest cars available since it debuted in 2005 – but that doesn’t mean it’s not getting long in the tooth. So Aston very well might be performing a mild mid-cycle refresh of their baby coupe and convertible by grafting on the ground effects from the 510 horsepower V12 Vantage.
